Image Link Generator: share photos by link
Image Share is a free image hosting tool that gives every uploaded photo its own instant link: upload a picture, get a direct image URL, and paste it into listings, forums, chats or documents. Links stay live up to 72 hours or until you delete them, and photos are stripped of EXIF and GPS data before upload.
Know before you share
- Photos are converted to a static JPEG copy (PNG if transparent). EXIF and GPS are removed before upload and checked again on the server.
- Links work immediately after upload. Image content is not automatically moderated. Do not upload illegal, private or unlicensed images.
- Links are unlisted and not included in search, but they are not password-protected.
- Delete revokes the link immediately. If automatic cleanup is unhealthy, new uploads pause and the owner sees the status.
Your account ownership, upload time, size, review state and any report are stored to run this feature. The active image record is removed with the image. Keep a backup of your original.
A few useful answers
Does every image get a separate link?
Yes. Every upload has its own page link and direct image link. You can also copy HTML, BBCode and Markdown code.
Can someone open it after it expires?
Our server refuses expired links. The stored file enters automatic cleanup, normally within a few minutes. Cleanup retries after service or network failures. Previously downloaded copies cannot be recalled.
Is a paid unlimited plan available?
Not yet. A longer-retention paid plan is being considered separately. No payment will be collected before pricing, storage limits and cancellation terms are approved. Unlimited storage is not promised.
Can visitors upload images?
Yes. Sign in with Google, choose images and Generate links. Each upload gets its own public link immediately, without per-image owner approval. Uploads pause when storage or safety limits are reached.
Image to link converter: how it works
Image Share turns any photo into a shareable link in seconds. Sign in with Google, tick the permission box once, and choose up to 150 images. Each photo is resized if you want, cleaned of GPS and camera data, uploaded, and given its own link – plus one gallery link for the whole batch. You choose how long links live: 1 hour, 3 hours, up to 72 hours, or no expiration until you delete the image.
Which link should I copy?
| Link / code | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Page link | WhatsApp, Telegram, email, SMS – opens a clean viewer page |
| Direct link (.jpg) | Online forms, marketplace descriptions, apps that need an image URL |
| HTML / clickable image | Blogs, websites, email signatures |
| Markdown | GitHub README, Notion, Reddit and docs |
| BBCode / thumbnail | Forums such as phpBB, vBulletin, XenForo |
| Gallery link | Sending a whole set of product or event photos at once |

Stay safe
Anyone with the link can view and download the image, so never upload Aadhaar, PAN, bank details or private photos. Keep your own copy of every image. Prefer a Hindi walkthrough? Read photo ka link kaise banaye. Need a short-lived link only? See temporary image link.
More questions about image links
How do I convert an image to a link?
Sign in with Google, tick the permission box, then choose your photos. Each image is uploaded and gets its own link right away. Copy the direct link, the page link or a ready HTML, Markdown or BBCode snippet.
Is it free?
Yes. Image Share is free to use with a Google sign-in, up to 150 images at a time within the daily limit and 100 MB of storage per account.
How is this better than sending photos on WhatsApp?
WhatsApp compresses photos and the receiver has to download each one. A link opens the full-quality image in any browser, works on email, forms and websites, and one gallery link can share a whole batch.
Is my location removed from the photo?
Yes. GPS location and camera EXIF details are removed before upload, and only a static JPEG (or PNG with transparency) copy is shared.
