Photo tips that reduce returns and rejections
- Show the real colour – avoid beauty filters and heavy edits.
- Add a close-up of fabric, stitching or the label.
- For sarees and kurtis, add one full-length worn photo.
- Do not copy photos from other sellers; duplicate images can be flagged.
- Keep the same background and ratio for every product in a catalogue.

What is the right product image size for Meesho?
A square 1000 × 1000 px JPG is a safe, widely accepted starting point and it is the tool’s Meesho preset. Some categories allow other ratios; Meesho shows the exact rules for your category in the Supplier Panel, so check there before a big upload.
Does Meesho allow text, price or watermark on the photo?
Keep the main image clean: no price, phone number, website, watermark or offer text. Catalogues with such details are commonly rejected. Use decorated variants only for social media or WhatsApp promotion.
How many photos should I upload per product?
Upload at least 3–4: front, back or side, a close-up of fabric or detail, and the product in use. More clear angles mean fewer returns.
Is this the same as a background remover?
No. The tool resizes and places your photo on a clean canvas. It does not cut out the background, so shoot the product on a plain white or light surface.
Is it free and are my photos uploaded?
