Temporary image link: share a photo that disappears on time
Sometimes you want a photo to be available for a short while and then vanish – a design proof for a client, a product sample for a buyer, a screenshot for support, or event photos for a weekend. This free temporary image hosting gives every picture its own link that expires automatically after 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, 1 day, 2 days or 3 days (72 hours). You can also delete it earlier yourself.
Expiry options and when to use them
| Expiry | Good for |
|---|---|
| 1–3 hours | Support screenshots, quick “is this the one?” checks |
| 6–12 hours | Same-day client approval, price list for a buyer |
| 1–2 days | Product samples for resellers, classroom images |
| 3 days (72 hours) | Weekend event photos, project reviews |
| No expiration | Images you want to keep linked until you delete them |
How to make a self-destructing photo link
- Sign in with Google.
- In Settings & upload, choose the link expiry first (it applies to the whole batch). Add an optional watermark if you are sharing proofs.
- Tick the permission box and choose up to 150 photos.
- Copy each link or the gallery link and send it on WhatsApp, Telegram or email.
Privacy details
- GPS location and camera EXIF data are removed before upload.
- Only a static JPEG copy is uploaded (PNG if the image has transparency); your original stays on your device.
- Links are unlisted and not added to search engines.
- Once the expiry passes, the link stops working and the file is cleaned up automatically.
Remember: an expiring link limits availability, not copying. Share only what you would be comfortable with someone saving. For a permanent link use image to URL converter; for a Hindi guide see photo ka link kaise banaye.
Frequently asked questions
How do I create a temporary image link?
Before choosing photos, set Link expiry to 1, 3, 6 or 12 hours, 1 day, 2 days or 3 days. Then sign in, tick the permission box and choose the images. Each link stops working at the time you chose.
What happens when the link expires?
Our server refuses the expired link straight away and the stored file goes into automatic cleanup, normally within a few minutes.
Can I delete the image before it expires?
Yes. Open My Images and press Delete – the link stops working immediately.
Can the person save the photo before it expires?
Yes. Anyone who opens the link can download or screenshot it while it is live. An expiring link limits how long it is available; it cannot recall copies.
Is a temporary link safe for ID cards or documents?
No. Do not upload Aadhaar, PAN, passports, bank details or private photos. Use temporary links for things like product samples, design proofs and event photos.
