Amazon main image requirements (summary)
- Pure white background (RGB 255, 255, 255).
- Product fills about 85% of the image; the whole item is visible.
- At least 1000 px on the longest side for zoom; 1600–2000 px is a good target.
- No text, logos, badges, borders, watermarks or extra items that are not included.
- JPEG preferred (PNG, TIFF and GIF are also accepted).

How to make an Amazon-ready photo
- Photograph the product on white paper or a light box, with soft light from both sides.
- Choose Amazon.in in the marketplace list (the size works for Amazon.com and .co.uk too).
- In Custom photo controls set Background White, Photo fit Fit entire photo, Photo area 85%.
- Press Make custom variant, check the full-size preview and download the JPG.
- Use the 100 decorated variants for secondary images only if they meet your category rules, or for ads and social posts.
Common reasons Amazon suppresses images
A grey or cream background instead of pure white, the product too small in the frame, a “Best price” sticker, a watermark, or an image under 500 px.
