NEET Photo & Signature Resize (10-200 KB / 10-100 KB)
NEET UG 2026 asks for a passport photo JPG of 10-200 KB and a signature JPG of 10-100 KB, plus PDF certificates and physical photos for exam day. This page gives the exact sizes and the steps to prepare each file correctly.
These are the NEET UG 2026 saved-file specifications. Confirm against your own bulletin - NTA can change requirements, and some sections of the bulletin itself use different numbers for specific items.
The exact NEET UG 2026 specifications
- Passport photo: JPG/JPEG, 10-200 KB, recent and in colour.
- Signature: JPG/JPEG, 10-100 KB, clearly legible.
- Certificates (category, Class 10 marksheet, CGPA conversion, disability/UDID, address proof where applicable): PDF, 50-300 KB.
- Finger and thumb impressions: the bulletin's own pages give conflicting figures (one page says 10-200 KB, another 50-300 KB) - read your bulletin's upload list for the item you are submitting.
- Physical photos: keep 6-8 identical passport-size and 4-6 postcard-size (4×6 inch) colour photos with white backgrounds for exam day and later stages.
Resize the photo and signature
- Start from clean, well-lit originals - a proper passport photo and a signature on white paper.
- Open Photo / Sign KB and select one image at a time. Files stay on your device.
- For the photo, set 10-200 KB. For the signature, set 10-100 KB. Enter pixel dimensions only if your bulletin states them.
- Export each JPG and check actual KB, clarity and completeness in a separate viewer.
- If the tool withholds a download because the minimum is unmet, rescan or retake the image rather than padding the file.
Before you submit
Open both JPGs once more, verify real KB in file details, and watch the portal preview after uploading. Do not treat the physical postcard size as a pixel dimension for online uploads. Full walkthrough: NEET photo & signature guide.
